Our Annual Ladies Tea
During our 9 years as a church, we have adopted some annual events. One that we started for our ladies is a tea. Our first one consisted of four ladies, some tea, sandwiches, deserts, and a craft. We enjoyed it so much, we decided to have one every year.
This year was our fourth. Each year we have a theme, a verse, and a speaker. Out theme this year was: “Tea by the Sea”.
We decorated with lighthouses, seashells, palm trees, and a treasure chest. Our verse was: Acts 20:35: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
Our speaker was Nancy Hartsfield, one of our own ladies, who spoke on women in the Bible. All in all it was a fun day and we enjoyed the fellowship with our own ladies and some special guests.
